AAPL is set to announce a slew of new products in the next few months, starting with the foldable iPhone. Mark Gurman had a good review in today's Bloomberg. An excerpt:

"The ability to watch videos, play games and get work done on a foldable phone is unmatched in the mobile landscape. It’s far more convenient than pulling out a tablet, and there’s something powerful about the versatility. You can move between a device that feels like a classic smartphone — for quick glances, texting and calls — and something much larger when you want to be entertained, hop on a videoconference call or get more productive.

Having spoken to several people who have used the upcoming foldable iPhone, I couldn’t be more excited. It’s true that Samsung has stolen some thunder from the launch by already introducing a similar design, in the form of its Z Fold 8. But that just reinforces that this new form factor is a winner: The Samsung device is truly a joy to use, according to our own testing. And Apple’s new offering is poised to build on that."

If AAPL has have truly integrated and fixed the operating systems and Siri so the Apple-verse is easy to use and does what it is supposed to, the new products will drive an upgrade cycle and strong continued growth. Coming next are Apple Home, CarPlay, wearables, and more. It's a wireless, digital world, and it's about to become voice-controlled. If they stumble, it will be a disaster. But based on Gurman's report, and he is not an Apple fan-boy, that doesn't seem likely.

I'm optimistic about Ternus and his ability to manage the company through all the changes that are coming. His will be an era of great products, but Tim Cook showed us that operational execution is just as important for financial success. The big question: will Ternus make sure they don't ship buggy products anymore?

The stock is not undervalued, but I'm happy to be holding a chunk.
