At one point in the Oaks, Pennsylvania, rally governor Kristi Noem introduced Mary and Charles Strange, a Gold Star family whose son Michael was killed while serving in Afghanistan in 2011.

As the Strange family made their way up on stage, Trump cracked a joke about getting up to meet them.

TRUMP: “It's a little harder to get up since I got shot. It made it more difficult. Perhaps that's the way it's supposed to be.”

NOEM: “Sir, they lost their son, Michael.”

Perhaps Trump is just honing his soulless ghoul routine for Halloween.

No need, though: he is the epitome of soulless ghoul.
