The best reading I would recommend is Bob Arnott's research paper, "The Surprising Alpha from Malkiel's Monkey and Upside-Down Strategies"

I haven't read Arnott's paper, but an easy related read is one of Joel Greenblatt's books, "The Big Secret for the Small Investor." That's the one that Greenblatt claims is still a big secret because nobody bought it. Lol
