Subject: Deep Red Iowa Election
There was a special election in Iowa last Tuesday for a state senate seat in a district that Trump won by double digits. With the Democrats in shambles, obviously the Republican won the seat, maintaining their super majority in the state senate. Bummer.

Oh, wait.

A Democrat got 55% (that was a 22% shift from 2024) AND broke the Republican super majority in the Iowa state senate.

Never mind.

I wonder if that sentiment among red state voters has anything to do with the Republicans trying to rig the election with super extreme gerrymandering?
