So, get out in front of it. Gun Owners should DEMAND strict background checks, in the name of protecting the 2nd Amendment.

I don't know of anyone who doesn't support a background check. What anyone is and should be leery of is ending up on a list somewhere. We've seen first with the Obama and now the Biden administrations that there is a willingness to exercise the federal government's power over ordinary citizens, almost gleefully so.
