Subject: Modestly OT: blatant ageism at the IRS
Yesterday I printed a paper file copy of my return.

The first thing I noticed when I picked it off the printer was, Wow, wonder how I toggled on the BIG FONT

Then I saw it was only the 1040 that was in the BIG FONT. All the other forms were the same as always.

And then, I saw it wasn't a standard 1040. It was a "1040-SR", apparently switched on automatically this year because I was born during the Eisenhower administration.

BIG FONT, forsooth. Wonder what whippersnapper at the IRS thought that one up.
