I did watch that as a teenager. It left a deep impression. More than a few teens
were selling pot and acid, usually just enough so that they could get their drug of
choice for free.

That was the plan of many a lad.

It never seemed to work out that way for many, however- mostly because a young and innocent drug dealer, just starting out, tends to radically underestimate the amount of his supply he will be consuming, and how that consumption will affect his ability to conduct “business”.

But hope springs eternal in that population.
