Subject: The Big Lebowski
I greatly enjoyed viewing the Coen brother's comedy 'The Big Lebowski' around the time of its 1998 release. About fifteen years or so later, when one of our sons and a young son of his by marriage were visiting us in our home, the youngster turned to me and out of the blue said "you're the Big Lebowski". At that point I had only a vague memory of the movie; not much more than that I'd liked it and it's namesake character, played by Jeff Bridges, who referred to himself as 'the Dude'.
Last night I happened to view it again, and found it to be quite hilarious, making me laugh out loud on occasion. My grandson-in-law's comment came to mind, and I couldn't figure out why he might have likened me to the Dude.
