My oldest kid is 45 so 401ks and 529s aren’t that old for me. I do know that when I retired in 1992, if I went all in spy or brk, and put a parental block on all financial channels and all financial publications like the wall st j, Barron’s, etc, and never made one trade, I’d be substantially richer today lol.
