Yup.
It's not that the left is wrong. It's that the insist on being Frank Drebbin in front of the fireworks factory, only they're even WORSE at gaslighting.

"Riots are public expression"
"There is no rise in crime"
"We don't have drug problems on the streets, it's all Amazon's fault"
etc.

Unfortunately, real people bear the consequences of the faculty lounge's bad ideas and the elitism by many of these so-called "elites" is really just not-even-disguised contempt for anyone not in their clique (which is intended for a very few to sit on top of the pyramids built by everyone else...and most certainly doesn't include the Useful Idiots).

The UK will be interesting in a couple of years.
