Subject: Re: canceled flights
It sounds like these friends of 1poorkid's are extremely privileged and possibly in the top 1% of worldwide wealth. Undoubtedly in the top 10% when family wealth is included.
The solution for a scarce resource such as seats on flights to Asia during a shutdown, is: You have to pay a higher ticket price than otherwise to get one of the seats on one of the available flights.
That's fine. The kids are wealthy. If not, how could they afford to go to Asia in the first place?
Rather than complain about having this extreme level of privilege, if you believe prices of airline tickets are too high due to the shutdown, you can petition your government for redress of grievances.
Specifically, contact King Schumer and demand that the Senate Dem Kings pass the clean C.R.
