Democrats are performative and weak, and have no real leadership.

Their core constituency is highly delusional; instead of trying to lead their constituency out of delusion, they pander to the delusions.

A perfect example of their performative delusion-pandering is that silly, purely performative video in which a bunch of feckless, unethical Democrat politicians tried to hypocritically imply, without actually saying it, that their military and intelligence community leaders (under Trump naturally) was giving them illegal orders and that they should defy those illegal orders.

Because that message was not intended for the military or intelligence communities at all. It was solely to pander to their delusional core voter base, make false insinuations against Trump, encourage insubordination in the military, but with absolutely nothing behind it. Now they can show little clips of themselves being self righteous and performative for the next campaign(s). There was no other purpose. They gave themselves plausible deniability by being able to claim tautologically that they never actually accused Trump of giving any illegal orders to anyone about anything. That's because they are weak, insipid, hypocritical panderers.

Military personnel (and intelligence community members) already know that they can and should refuse to carry out illegal orders. They receiving training in the UCMJ and they know who is in their chain of command. Random democrat politicians are not in their chain of command. The question is what actually constitutes an illegal order and in what context is that situation going to arise. Do these Democrats actually believe--no wait for it--they believe that their core constituencies believe that military personnel from 4 stars down to E-1 are ALL idiots and would automatically follow illegal orders? Yeah because they deem military, as well as non-college educated, blue collar workers as deplorable idiots.

But since these pols were appealing to a delusional base who thinks anyone in the military is an idiot, and doesn't understand how the military works, the people this video was actually intended for can delusionaly believe the video actually has some purpose other than feeding into their own delusions and pandering to them.

These Dems who made this video are actually so cowardly or so hypocritical that they never even gave one single example of any illegal order given by Trump. Given that Trump has the military blowing up Venezuelan "fishing boats" and there have been many people saying that's a violation of the law, that would have been the obvious example to use in their pointless video--but only if they themselves truly believed that blowing up those boats is actually illegal.

They don't.
