I don't know how many times I've heard people complain that they didn't use algeeebra once they got out of high school. One Filipino friend saw this complaint and said he uses it all the time. He manages a lube place.. I had to look and realized I used it and forgot it was algebra. :) I solved a problem regarding a house repair and my friend said I was using calculus. I didn't remember, I could just see what it needed. I'm all for bringing the real world in, so the practical side. Bit I've gotten worse over the years. :)
