Here’s an immutable trait of liberals for you: they’re all reluctant to speak their minds when they go against the herd. Can’t do it.

That principle of “in for a penny, in for a pound” is why you see green groups out there with the Hamasniks and other random causeheads. The interesting thing is that never disagreeing with the liberal orthodoxy has carried over to everyday left wingers - it’s not until you create a psychological permission structure for them safely speak their minds will they open up.

It’s why libs in big cities will walk right past graffiti, trash, and zombie homeless guys and not say anything (nor change their votes). You guys really ought to be congratulated on creating a class of people so afraid to be cast out of the herd for political heresy.
