Quibble. It's the "R" that is associated with names like "Trump" and "Desantis" that dictates how I will vote. If there is an "R" that -by my evaluation- is superior to Joe, I'd vote for him/her. So far, none such has thrown their hat into the ring. So, right now, it's "anyone other than the R guy".

I'd sooner vote for a rabid badger than I would for Trump.
