So the solution to me, is that the workers presently doing those jobs obtain a legal status that allows them to be here, work here, and go back and forth to Mexico easily. Of course if they commit a serious crime, then their card is revoked and they are deported either forever or based on the crime for a substantial time before they can re-apply.

And this is how it should have been all along but you'll never get the democrats to sign on to common sense. That's not how they roll.
