I don't share your optimism. Biden isn't energizing his base, and a lot of people are unhappy with the Palestinian situation.

The biggest vote-getter for Biden is Trump. Biden is competent, but unexciting. He also is upper right quadrant (right authoritarian), which doesn't speak to progressives. Not as far as most Reps, but still upper right.

Trump can win if Biden loses enough progressive support. A lot of progressives have purity tests (i.e. "not progressive enough"), and could just stay home.
