Fine to hold your own personal views and even publicly advocate to attract others to make the same decision for themselves. But when that public advocation turns into campaigning for government to force your decision on everyone else, be it "wear the mask" or "have the baby", then it becomes a big problem which I hope everybody opposes, liberal or conservative.

As for the OP, it's barely April. Polls right now are meaningless. Republicans are going to take damage on abortion (for a lot of people, that is the single issue they will vote on; both pro and anti, and the antis are outnumbered nationally), and if the Dems play it right they will take damage on the squashed border bill (best opportunity in a generation). Trump's criminal cases aren't helping him with swing/independent voters**.

Barring a catastrophe that Biden gets blamed for (whether rightly or wrongly), he will probably win in November. As Dope said a few weeks ago, Trump is his own worst enemy.
