It would have been nice if you had offered a prayer or some words of condolences
for the Board to reflect on this tragedy.

Gracious God, who reserves a special place in hell for those who refuse to meet the continuing shooting of children with anything more than “thoughts and prayers”….and turns away from all whose only response to human tragedy is to speak empty words….

Gather us into your mighty river of justice! May we break like a flood over the walls of injustice and the indifference of those who do nothing in the face of evil.

Strengthen us for the coming battle, that this country may again do justice, love kindness, and walk humbly with you.

Amen
