bighairymike: Then who used the defense production act to resupply ventilators, a supply that was allowed to dwindle under Obama?

Who waited until the first week of April to invoke the Defense Production Act for ventilators (after 57 democrats in Congress wrote him an official letter urging him to do so) and then said that its powers would only be used "in a worst case scenario." General Motors and Ford didn't start delivering them until early May. Trump diddled away valuable time.

bighairymike: Then who sent the Mercy Ship to New York Harbor when Cuomo was panicking over hospital bed shortage?
You may not remember since Cuomo never used the Trump-tainted Mercy Ship.

He couldn't use it: the Comfort refused to take Covid patients. (Well, it actually did end up taking a few dozen patients but I don't think any of them had Covid). When asked about it, Trump said only that the ship was not accepting patients with the coronavirus.

A tangle of military protocols and bureaucratic hurdles has prevented the Comfort from accepting many patients at all.

On top of its strict rules preventing people infected with the virus from coming on board, the Navy is also refusing to treat a host of other conditions. Guidelines disseminated to hospitals included a list of 49 medical conditions that would exclude a patient from admittance to the ship.

Ambulances cannot take patients directly to the Comfort; they must first deliver patients to a city hospital for a lengthy evaluation — including a test for the virus — and then pick them up again for transport to the ship.

bighairymike: Then who initiated Operation Warp Speed?

Bravo. Seriously.

Well, except when people started screaming about freedom and tyranny and vaccine mandates and masks, Trump folded like a cheap suit and said never mind... don't take the vaccine if you don't wanna'.

But sure, rewrite history for us.
