The headline: "In Escalation, Adams Says Migrant Crisis 'Will Destroy New York City'"
The subhead: "In provocative remarks at a town hall meeting, Mayor Eric Adams said that he did not 'see an ending' to the migrant crisis and renewed his push for federal help."

So it's NOT "the immigrants," but "the migrant CRISIS." And as I stated initially, it's the overwhelming numbers. And it's NOT "destroying" but "WILL destroy".....and what comes next makes it clear that the critical element is the strain on the city's resources, not the migrants themselves. Adams "renewed his push for federal help."
