Subject: Re: UK: "Extinction level event" for Labour
Starmer’s Labour has shed more than 500 councillors in England, with Nigel Farage’s populist-right Reform UK the main beneficiary.

For those not familiar, Farage is the architect of Brexit, which arguably contributed to Britain’s current economic woes (trade with Europe suffered while those amazing new trade deals somehow never materialized) and led to more immigration (rather than less as promised by the campaign at the time).

Of course Farage maintained that was not a function of Brexit, but of Brexit not having been executed ‚hard enough‘… well, who said European politics is more logical than its US equivalent.
