You might want to hold off on the celebrating until all appeals have been exhausted, assuming Trump's DOJ appeals the ruling, which can be anticipated.
There are a lot of unclear issues about these recess or interim prosecutor appointments that I don't think have ever been clearly resolved (if at all) by the Supreme Court (assuming it gets that far; it might not).
It's kind of puzzling that federal judges have any say at all in appointing interim federal prosecutors. Even if there is statutory law to that effect, it seems potentially like a violation of the separation of powers.
