There is absolutely no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt. Until one hour before he quit, his spokesman was saying that he is in the race forever. He's a politician and loves power and loves spending other people money and controlling other people. Just a career politician forever and ever. I'm not quite sure why you think he is a great person.
