Frankly, don't care given the illegal actions and violations of civil rights (e.g. due process). It certainly wasn't worth the cost.

Hopefully, the next POTUS will reverse course and start respecting rule of law again.

IMO, that's far more important than any reduction in border crossings (or other outcome that under legal circumstances would be considered favorable).
