Generally what Trump did was this:
-Machine-gunned out his accomplishments
-Gave an insanely partisan speech that’s usually reserved for campaign events
-Signaled the themes he’s going to hit on the campaign trail
-Basically changed the rules for how mid term campaigning will go.
