Like any other event with an increasing probability, it should have been "priced in" increasingly over time, and then priced in 100%, or perhaps with an overshoot, when the event occurs. And surely it has, at least if you consider the markets to be [mostly] rational, or at least something that always returns to rationality over time - weighing/voting etc.
