All she had to do was shut up and ride it out. If he wins she’s not gonna be anything anyway. If she loses she’s a politician who prostituted herself on the altar of Orange Jesus.

In some ways I liken this to Hillary voting in favor of the invasion of Iraq. She knew it was wrong, but she would pay a stiff political penalty if she voted against, so she went “yea.” And that crude calculation cost her bigly when the war went south and turned into a fiasco.

I disagree with Liz Cheney ohjn also most everything except this: she is a moral, honest person. That is worth a lot these days.
