Is it being cut off at the prior step because the ROE figure isn't passing the cutoff?
Its rank by ROE is in the 400s among the VL 1700 set.

They're very big on growth, but headline profitability has never been that big a deal for them.

That's not it. The cutoff for the top 500 by ROE is less than 17 and AMZN has 20.71. I've gone through all the screening steps and I couldn't figure it out. I'll see if lohill can help me figure it out as he suggested.
