“How is it that half of America looks at Donald Trump and doesn’t find him morally repellent?” David Brooks asks. “He lies, cheats, steals, betrays, and behaves cruelly and corruptly, and more than 70 million Americans find him, at the very least, morally acceptable. Some even see him as heroic, admirable, and wonderful.”

It is rare that the right wingers on this board really praise Trump, because...how can you. They like his racism, misogyny, crassness and cruelty. But what can anyone honestly say about Trump's character that is positive, unless you are telling a lie.

He's the worst, and only the most deeply deluded of the MAGA crowd can't see this.
