Subject: It's Sunday! Butkers v Kaepernick
2 NFL players, 2 teams. 2 public events. 1 NFL. 1 Christ, 2 sides.
The views expressed by Kaepernick (Lib) and Butkers (OrangeCult) have not been well received by many people on both sides of the aisle who feel entertainers should "shut up and do what we pay to see them do."
However, both received a lot of support from one side of the sociopolitical aisle or the other side. And...both received a lot of flack from one side or the other too.
" A petition created by Faithful America on Friday is condemning Harrison Butker #7 of the Kansas City Chiefs for his controversial <sexist/antiLGBTQ> commencement speech, as they call for him to apologize. "
Kaepernick lost his job with the 49ers. Will the Chiefs/NFL owners give kicker Butkers the boot as well?

NFL says, ""Harrison Butker gave a <sexist/anti-LGBT> speech in his personal capacity. His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger,"
His personal capacity?? Nobody would know or care who Butkers is, nor would he be giving a commencement speech, were it not for his celebrity as kicker on the team that fields Taylor Swift's boyfriend. Nobody.
On the AR-15 side of the Catholic aisle, "CatholicVote, a nonprofit advocacy group, has since supported Butker as the group sent a letter to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell and Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt, condemning the league's statement, writing that the "ideals" Butker referred to in his speech are not controversial and remain "sacred for millions of religious believers."
