First, it's not cash, it's a prepaid debit card.

Second, it's a pilot program for 500 migrant families with children.

Third, each migrant in the program gets $12.52 per day for food and baby supplies.

Fourth, using debit cards will save the city $7.2 million annually.

Perhaps you'd rather they starved. Or committed crimes to feed themselves (since they're not allowed to work).

Perhaps Speaker Moses Johnson should bring the senate border bill to the floor -- endorsed by the border patrol officers union -- where it will pass (rather than bending the knee to Orange Jesus) and the country can get busy solving the border crisis.
