This is one of the few actions I agree with. It is a continuation of a Biden policy. As an aside, it is interesting that this time the US acted alone rather than in coordination with the military from other countries.

Biden adopted a large defensive posture. I wrote about it a lot.
We’ll see if Trump is more proactive, which he should be.

As to the coordination part, the US has been 99% of the action in the Red Sea. NATO navies largely exist on paper.
