Which is a Sisyphean task even in the best of times. Given the penchant of the current Executive to allow his subordinates fairly free reign so that any problems can be deflected to those subordinates and away from himself, I suspect it's basically impossible these days. As potentially the only person in the administration that could reasonably be called the adult in the room this time around, there is precious little she can do to contain the chaos. It will be interesting to see how long she will run with this job before she decides to "pursue other interests."
