This would require dropping the fixation on gender and identity politics,

That's actually the right's fixation on gender and identity politics. It's just like I never worry about black folks getting more than they should because I know the right will put a stop to that.

supporting the common sense view that biological males should be kept out of women's sports and out of their bathrooms and locker rooms,

I was in the Philippines where no one worries about where the trans folk go to bathrooms, since the sport part is teeny ya never hear about it, and there's no problem at the high school level. I do remember one woman got upset one time that a ladyboy was using the women's bathroom at a wet market, but that was an anomaly - everyone just scratched their heads and thought she was out there. I think your focus on that is special.

opposing sanctuary states and cities to name a few, <M/i>

I have no problem with sanctuaries.

agreeing that schools should embrace parental rights concerning the education of their children, especially opposing schools keeping secrets from parents. To name a few.

The right likes to feed rage and resentment to its followers. I think immigration needs a rational review, and we won't get that from the right. I think health care, affordable housing, getting good paying jobs for people who like to work with their hands, getting our oligarchy to pay their fair share of taxes ( the tax burden has been forced down over the years), and getting people to not be lead around by the nose are good areas to work on. But we're going to give money to the rich, and be bigots for a while it seems.
