The FBI knew damn well who the bomber was, or at least had a good idea...and they dropped it. They dropped it because it wouldn't do to have some anarchist BLM guy be the main suspect.

Or….. in line with this administration’s rush to legally persecute its targets on the basis of easily overturned evidence……

The case against this guy is so flimsy that Patel and Bondi will again be humiliated by a Grand Jury or trial…. Which accounts for why Chris Wray didn’t pursue it.
