Trump will be totally transactional in his expectations. Ukraine took a chunk of Russian territory a while back, and now they can "negotiate" trading that for the territory Russia took.

Maybe you're right, but that seems wildly optimistic. Putin will expect to get a lot from Trump and Trump is a great admirer of Putin.
