All the Bosch dishwashers have the filter located in the bottom. The sales woman in the Best Buy told me it needs to be cleaned out at least once a week. That's a non-starter for me since my knee hurts (I'm age 71).

Is there any good DW with a readily accessible filter?

My 1987 DW doesn't have a filter at all. Apparently it grinds up any large particles -- though my dogs make sure there aren't any before I load the dishes.
