- Here's a suggestion that is hopefully quite easy to implement and worthwhile:

"New posts feed"

Link at the top of the page. "Newest posts".

It presents a flat table e.g.

Date/Time | Boardname | Post title | Author | Recs

The table shows the 100 most recent posts.

The order of columns is to highlight 'recency' and 'which boards' are active then 'which topics'.

- The purpose is to drive activity to quiet or new boards that people might not have been aware of.

- It allows people to spot boards that are coming to life.

- It greatly increases the chance that high-value posts on quiet board will be noticed and rec'd.
