Carney is looking at an interesting situation at home. Alberta might just have enough signatures to get their secession on the ballot. It likely won't pass but the fact that it's there shows he's got his own Scotland problem.

The O&G provinces in the west, as well as the Frankophiles in Quebec have always bitched about the government in Ottawa and threatened to go their own way.

This is nothing new.
