Supplying the aid to Ukraine before the bill was passed would have amounted to unauthorized use of military equipment (plus, there would not have been funds to replenish those supplies for our people). - 1pg

We could "abandon" them some arms. It wasn't a problem in Afghanistan. Seriously, if we have the arms to give them today without jeopardizing our own security, then we also had the excess arms last month too. Give them to our friends the Ukrainians who were figuratively dying in the trenches for lack of ammo. I say we were stampeded.
