Correa, who was forced to leave his country due to death threats, explained that García's deceptive method consists of convincing migrants to go out onto the highways to walk as a way of pressuring authorities to approve the injunctions, but in the end the documents are not issued and the walkers are exposed to arrests and extortion by immigration officials and in many cases to deportation.
