yes, i have seen the countless articles of investing through changes in parties....the vast majority of those were with a split congress and usually better behaved scotus as a final backstop.

can portfolios built to withstand normal biz cycles also thrive with slow but deeply negative socio-economic changes?
what does it mean for investing when half of society accepts more widespread and escalating levels of white-collar crime, particularly from gov larders and public good? should we pro-actively consider frontier market status, which would utterly destroy the privileged currency and multiples, or keep faking it as part of the grift?
