A bunker. A last redoubt. A final refuge from which to make a last stand.

Probably a smart idea. The country pretty much hates him.

But the history of last stand bunkers, as with castle keeps, is not emblazoned with success.

But the fantasies of the Putins, Hitlers, Trumps and Gaddafis of the world continue to be replayed.

Wouldn't it be easier for Trump simply to be the president for all Americans?

Yeah.... but where's the profit in that?

Somewhere in the bowels of the Pentagon, hidden even from Pete Hegseth, there are plans for the future "Operation 1600 Pennsylvania Bunker Buster"

And even now, Hegseth is lining up "his" generals to take polygraph tests.

A failed regime is a failure in direct proportion to the size of its bunker.... an iron-clad rule.
