Subject: SCOTUS Homeless decision
The SCOTUS decision that allows states/counties/cities to remove homeless encampments on public property was issued on June 28th.
July 25th, Governor Newsom issued an order allowing state agencies to begin remove homeless encampments.
One month from SCOTUS to State order.
Does that seem like a normal amount of time for a state to craft a response to a SCOTUS decision, send it to legal for review to make sure it's compliant with the decision, and release the state order to cities and counties?
