What annoys me is that he either a) knew he was lying, or b) was too stupid to realize he couldn't do what he claimed. Neither is good for a POTUS.

I think he starts something, talks the big story, and hopes something falls out of the sky into his lap. He gets walked around by the other side, and stretched it out for Putin. He's got a short attention span it appears and doesn't know how to broker a long deal. If he wants to do that, he has to retain experienced negotiators and attempt to deal with Iran. I have no idea how to deal with Iran who's fronting Hamas.
