ICE takes over international airport as US citizens urged to carry documentation

The report from Fox 9 comes from "an airport employee," who confirmed to the network that ICE will set up at the Minneapolis airport for the next three weeks. The airport has not confirmed the news; however, it said that regulations do give ICE agents and officers the right to be there and check documentation.

While greencard holders are asked to carry their documents at all times, U.S. citizens are not required to show documentation - however, that may result in a wrongful detention. U.S. passengers have been urged to carry their passports and other documentation as ICE agents begin their operations out of the airport.
