No, that showed up yesterday and I usually flip through and leave the sound off, but the print caught my eye. Project 2025, etc., does take things to a new level. That is if you believe people when they tell you what dark thing they are going to do.

It's odd, but the "allowed" part means the law has to allow him to do that. Rough thing to do. The law simply doesn't allow you to do that. I suppose someone could find a way to use military law on civilians inside the US, but I just don't see how.

The thing that bothers me is that we have interpretations of arcane law that can just be tossed out by judges by their political bent. The structure seems rather flimsy if it is built half on norms that can be violated on a whim, decades of precedent lost and we drop back 50 to 100 years of progress by a drive to stack the courts. New and inventive ways of suppressing votes at the state level and when coupled with gerrymandering and the electoral college I very much question if we are a democracy. When one party that loves to cheat and rig ensconces itself in power at the state level and rewrites the laws, etc., to keep themselves in power in seeming perpetuity. Have to run now, adios!
