Some union guys, yes, the rest - no. Tradesman, roughnecks, farmers, etc., were mostly Republican for most of my life. There was a time when we weren't so divided. It's not incredulous that they don't like immigration, but that they have no appreciation of NATO, etc., and are more than willing to be led to be surrender monkeys - that's new.
