Subject: My 100 year-old antifa father-in-law
I spent the President's Day weekend with my 100 year-old father-on-law.

He is in a nursing home now, has trouble standing and can't walk more than a step or two. But his mind is still sharp and his memory very much intact.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps and served in Europe as crew on B-24s. He was shot down on his second mission, but baled out and spent the next 8 months as a POW. He was lucky. Five of the crew died in the plane crash and one of four who managed to bail out was summarily executed by a German soldier (that soldier was executed for that war crime after the war).

He despises Trump and what Trump is doing to this country. He did his part to keep us free and now the Trumplican Party is in bed with the enemies of democracy and freedom.
